Bhubaneswar 12/8: : Nomination of Office Bearers to the Eastern India Regional Council of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India was completed . CMA Uttam Kumar Nayak nominated as Chairman , CMA Subhasis Chakraborty as Vice-Chairman ,CMA Arati Ganguly as Secretary CMA Damodar Mishra as Treasurer. Election to the Eastern India Regional Council was also
held from Odisha CMA Damodar Mishra & CMA Uttam Kumar Nayak were elected asRegional Council Member for the term 2023-27 . CMA Uttam kumar Nayak belongs to Naladiavillage of Rajnagar Block ,Kendrapada District . Earlier he had served as Vice –Chairman ,Chairman of ICMAI-Bhubaneswar Chapter (2017-18) . At present he is working as AGM (CR &Corporate Affairs ) at MGM Minerals limited, Bhubaneswar . He is the first CMA member ofRajanagar block elected to the Regional Council & holds the position of Chairman .
CMA Damodar Mishra belongs from Kashipur village of Basudevpur Block ,Bhadrak District . Earlier he had also occupied position as Secretary ,Vice-Chairman & Chairman(2018-19) of ICMAI-Bhubaneswar Chapter . At present he is working as D.G.M.(Fin.) at Odisha Power
Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) , Bhubaneswar. He is the first CMA Member of undivided Balasore District elected to the Regional Council .Chairman & other management committee members of ICMAI-Bhubaneswar Chapter welcomed with utariya & flower
bouquet at Bhubaneswar Railway station to the newly elected office bearers after their
arrival from Kolkata. Both the Regional Council members expressed that they will definitely work for the up-liftment of CMA Profession in Odisha . Chairman of Bhubaneswar Chapterstated that it is proud moment for the Bhubaneswar chapter ; entire CMA fraternity of Odisha.
