Two SOG Jawans Injured in Landmine Explosion During Search Operation

SUBARNAPUR, 15/2 —- Two SOG jawans were seriously injured in a landmine explosion during a search operation in Nalikumpha forest of Kantamal police station in Boudh district today. After scanning the city of the two jawans, they have been airlifted to Bhubaneswar. The two SOG jawans are Rasaraj Shiromani Naik and Utkal Patel. They have left Maoist behind in Boudh district. Two SOG jawans were seriously injured in Mao’s ID blast. According to information, Boudh police and SOG jawans continued their search operation after receiving information about the presence of Maoists in Nalikumpa and Balamtuma forests under Manamunda police station of Boudh district. One person was injured in the leg and another person hed was admitted to the Kantamal Community Health Center immediately and was shifted to Bhimabhoi Medical College and Hospital in Balangir by 108 ambulance and airlifted to Bhubaneswar.The search operation is ongoing.Report – Ugrasen Karmi.
