Chennai, 16/2: A city court on Thursday dismissed a petition filed by former Tamil Nadu Minister V Senthil Balaji, which sought to defer the trial in a money laundering case registered against him by the Enforcement Directorate.
Principal Sessions Judge (PSJ) S Alli, before whom Senthil Balaji was produced by the prosecution through video conferencing (VC) from central prison here, extended his remand till February 16.
