“SWACHHTA HI SEVA” AWARENESS PROGRAMMES BY KHURDA ROAD DIVISION.
An initiative to Strengthen voluntarism and collective action for Cleanliness.
Khurda Road Division is observing “Swachhta Hi Seva” abhiyan from 14 th September
to 1 st October 2024. The initiative taken to Strengthen voluntarism and collective action for
Cleanliness, giving special focus on cleanliness at Railway stations, trains, Railway
residential colonies and production units etc.
As a part of the Swachhata hi seva programmes, Shri P.K.Behera, Additional
Divisional Railway Manager (Operation), khurda Road, administered Swachhta Pledge to all
the Branch officers and staff, to commit themselves to cleanliness and to motivate general
public on cleanliness. The Swachhta Pledge was administered by the staff at all important
Railway stations over the division.
On this occasion an awareness rally was organized in the DRM office premises. Public
awareness workshops were organized at major Railway stations. During the observance of
Swachhta Hi Seva, Khurda road division has planned for various cleanliness activities and
awareness pragrammes at Railway stations, trains, office buildings and Railway colonies.
