Cuttack: The newly appointed DCP of Cuttack IPS Jagmohan Meena took charge of office onn Tuesday, said reliable reports. He is a 2013 batch IPS. Earlier, Jagmohan was working as Ganjam SP. Jagmohan Meena took over from outgoing DCP Prakash R.
Cuttack DCP Jagmohan Meena interacted with the media after taking charge, and said:
- As the festive season has started, emphasis will be placed on law and order.
- We will try to improve the behavior of the police in the police station. In this regard, emphasis will be given on increased soft skill training.
- Efforts will be made to reduce police response time.

- A list of professional criminals will be prepared and they shall be closely monitored.
- Special emphasis will be given to the protection of women.
