Bhadrak: The blood-stained body of former Sarpanch was recovered by the police outpost of Bandhagaon police station in Bhadrak district this morning.The deceased former Sarpanch, identified as Chittaranjan Rout was the President of Ambaroli Samabaya Samiti and a political leader of Biju Janta Dal (BJD). He was returning to his home from a fair at his village when he was allegedly kidnapped and killed. His body was found lying at a drain near his house.Deep injury marks at the hind part of his head was found. This indicates that there can be some foul play as his body was found under mysterious circumstances was found from a drain.
