Sambalpur: The BJP leaders’ death case in Sambalpur district has taken a twist as recently it has been found that it was not a case of mere accident, but it was ‘intentional’. Accordingly, a case under appropriate sections of BNS has been registered.As per reports, the SP of Sambalpur has informed that the driver of the Hyva truck is giving different and confusing statements which implies that it was not accident but intentional.The SP also said that the vehicle owner will also be questioned. The background of the incident will be known by evening, he said.It is to be noted that two senior BJP leaders died after a Hyva truck rammed into their car in A. Kantapali in Sambalpur late on Saturday night.The deceased have been identified as Debendra Naik and Murali Churia. Debendra is the chairperson of the Chipalipa mandal of BJP.Initially though it seemed like a case of road accident, later it has been found that there was criminal motive behind this.
