Rayagada / Tikiri : “76 th Republic Day” observed at Utkal Alumina International Limited, a subsidiary of
Hindalco Industries Limited of Aditya Birla Group on 26 th January 2025. In this
occasion, the Managing Director of Hindalco Industries of Aditya Birla Group Sri
Satish Pai hoisted the Tricolour at Nuapada Township campus as a Chief Guest of the
occasion.
“The glory of this country should be kept up by all Indians. Sri Satish Pai mentioned in
his special address to the audience. As a responsible corporate Utkal Alumina &
Aditya Alumina Refinery,Kansariguda is always committed and contributing towards
the nation building as mentioned by Sri Pai.
He emphasized on the community development initiatives undertaken by Utkal
Alumina & Aditya Alumina Refinery,Kansariguda and its impact in bringing prosperity
among the community. Our CSR & Sustainability initiatives in areas of education,
healthcare, sustainable livelihood, and rural infrastructure are touching the lives of
more than 2 lakhs population who resides in 232 villages of 2 districts. We are always
in our fore front and devoted to managing any crises and outbreak happens in the
community.

After the ceremony, Managing Director of Hindalco Industries Mr Satish Pai visited
Utkal Hospital, Aditya Birla Public School, the R&R Colony, Dwimundi Village, D-Korol
village and interacted with Displaced family and villagers. Also Managing Director
visited CSR initiatives undertaken by Utkal Alumina CSR Team and Health Centre at
Podapadi village of Kashipur Block and inaugurated one more new Health Centre at
Biriguda village in Laxmipur Block under CSR Initiatives of Aditya Alumina Refinery-
Kansariguda.
An award ceremony was organized where Community People, Progressive Farmers,
Successful Entrepreneurs, best Trainees have been awarded during the occasion.
Security personnel were awarded for their outstanding contribution and dedication
to their duty.
Employees, Families from Utkal Alumina & Aditya Alumina Refinery, and community
have witnessed the grand event.
