Odisha Congress to conduct Sankalpa Padayatra from Bhubaneswar to Puri, OPCC President forms coordination committee

Bhubaneswar: Newly appointed Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) President Bhakta Charan Das has started to strengthen the party and as a part of his effort for the same he has decided to conduct Sankalpa Padayatra from Bhubaneswar to Puri. According to the OPCC President, the grand party’s Sankalpa Padayatra will be held between Bhubaneswar and Puri. The pada yatra will start from February 18 from the Biju Pattnaik International Airport in the State Capital City. To coordinate this Sankalpa Padayatra, Bhakta has formed a 16-members coordination committee under the Chairmanship of ex MLA Dr Debasis Pattnaik. The committee members include several young leaders of the party. This is the first committee that Bhakta Charan Das formed after being appointed as the president of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee on February 11. My aim is not to become the Chief Minister of Odisha but to strengthen the Congress party and win the hearts and minds of the people, he had said after being selected to lead the party in Odisha.
