‘Subhadra Shakti’ fair to begin from tomorrow in Odisha, SHG women from across the state to participate

Bhubaneswar: The ‘Subhadra Shakti’ fair to begin from tomorrow in Odisha. SHG women from across the State will participate in this fair. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida informed about this today. Parida said that such a fair will be organized by the state government at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar for the first time. Self-help groups and producer groups from different parts of the state will participate in the fair. More than 300 stalls will be set up to display and sell products made by self-help groups. Various types of handicrafts and organic products will be displayed in this 9-day exhibition, which will run till March 2. The fair will be organized simultaneously in Puri, Malkangiri, Sambalpur and Balangir. The Deputy Chief Minister said that this event will connect rural women entrepreneurs with buyers, businesses and markets.
