Deogarh: In a shocking incident a man allegedly killed his wife in Deogarh district of Odisha. The story did not end there. The woman had been admitted to the hospital where she passed away. After knowing about wife’s death, the man abandoned the dead woman and family and fled from the scene. The incident took place in the Jharadiha village under Kundheigola Police Station limits in the district. After the killer father abandoned the family along with his dead wife, a heart wrenching scene was witnessed. Their 3 helpless children were seen crying near body of their mother throughout the night in the hospital verandah. As per reports, yesterday night the husband thrashed his wife. Later, she was rescued and taken to Chhatabar hospital in a critical condition. However, the doctor pronounced her dead after examination. After knowing about death of the woman, the accused husband abandoned the family along with the dead wife and fled from the scene. The deceased woman has been identified as Chanchala Pradhan (26) daughter of Ramesh Majhi of Arkhapal village. After getting information Riamaal Police reached the spot and initiated investigation.
