Jharsuguda: In the latest development in the former Odisha Minister Naba Das murder case, the Crime Branch has recently summoned Dipali Das and Vishal Das, the daughter and son of the former Minister. CB has asked them to appear on any day in the first week of March to tell the investigating agency if they have anything to say on the investigation of the murder. As per reports, the former Jharsuguda MLA Deepali Das and her brother have been asked in the notice to appear at the Crime Branch on any day in the first week of March. They have been told that if they have anything to say or have any objections regarding the Crime Branch investigation, they can inform on that day. It is to be noted that on January 29, 2023, at around 11:30 am, Naba Das was shot at Gandhi Chhack in Brajrajnagar in Jharsuguda district. He was initially admitted to the Jharsuguda District Headquarter Hospital. However, as his condition deteriorated, he was then airlifted to Bhubaneswar and admitted to a private hospital. He died there while undergoing treatment. Gopal, the sole accused of this murder case, was arrested immediately. He is currently in jail. The case is currently pending in the court.
