Balasore: A huge fish weighing 2 quintals was caught from the deep sea off Odisha coast yesterday. The large fish reportedly has been auctioned at a whooping Rs 1 lakh. According to reports, some fishermen from the Kanthi and Petughat areas of West Bengal had gone to the deep sea off Odisha coast to fish when a giant fish got caught in their net. After the fishermen brought the 2 quintals fish to the shore with great difficulty, the fish was auctioned for an estimated one lakh rupees at the Digha fish landing center. There was a huge crowd of locals and tourists to see the giant fish.
