Malkangiri AO Bureau:- 16/04 Two top cadre Maoist were killed in a police encounter. There was an exchange of fire between the police and the Maoist mob in the Kilam forest of Kondagaon district of Chhattisgarh. East Bastar DVCM cadre Maoist Haldhar and ACM cadre Maoist Rame of Bastar Sangha were killed in the police encounter. An A-47 riffel and a large quantity of Maoist explosives were seized from the spot. The search operation is still going on in fear of more Maoist casualties.This success was achieved during the combing operation of DRG Jawans. However, a reward of Rs 13 lakh was announced in the name of these two Maoists.
