Begunia: The hanging body of a couple have been recovered from a tree in Khordha district of Odisha on Thursday. The incident took place near the Tarini Temple of Goudapatna village under Botalama Panchayat in Begunia area. The deceased persons have been identified as Ajay and Shantilata Mahapatra from Sunakhala. Ajay had a garage in Sunakhala while Shantilata ran a beauty parlor. As per reports, the body of the couple was seen hanging from the tree. Accordingly, the matter was informed to Police. After getting information, Jankia Police reached the spot and recovered the bodies. it is not clear who killed the two or whether they committed suicide. A scooty has been parked near the bodies. The Junkia police have seized the bodies while further investigation of the case is underway.
