Koraput :- April 21: In a significant recognition of its outstanding work in holistic development, Koraput District in Odisha has been selected for the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration, 2024. Collector Shri V. Keerthi Vasan will receive the award from Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Civil Services Day event at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Koraput District has been recognized for its innovative approaches to governance, including the use of technology to improve service delivery and citizen engagement. The district has made notable strides in healthcare, education, and infrastructure development, showcasing its commitment to holistic development. This achievement is a testament to the district administration’s dedication to excellence and innovation in governance. Koraput District is one of only five districts nationwide to receive this distinction, alongside Rajkot (Gujarat), Gomti (Tripura), Tinsukia (Assam), and Kupwara (Jammu and Kashmir).
