34 KIIT-KISS faculty members feature in Stanford–Elsevier World’s Top 2% Scientists list

Bhubaneswar, October 8: A total of 34 faculty members of KIIT University, including one faculty member from KISS Deemed to be University, have been featured in the World’s Top 2% Scientists list for 2026, released today by Stanford University and Elsevier. The recognition highlights the research contributions and global scientific impact of faculty members from the KIIT-KISS academic ecosystem. Of the 34 faculty members featured in the 2026 Single-Year Impact List, 13 faculty members have also been included in the Career-Long Impact List, which recognises scientists based on their cumulative research impact over their careers. 11 faculty members have figured in both the Single-Year and Career-Long lists, reflecting sustained contributions to research as well as significant impact during the latest assessment year. The Stanford–Elsevier ranking is based on standardised citation indicators and research-impact metrics and identifies scientists whose scholarly work has achieved significant influence within their respective fields. The recognition of 34 faculty members in the single-year list marks another notable achievement for KIIT University, underscoring the institution’s emphasis on research, innovation and academic excellence. The inclusion of a KISS faculty member further reflects the growing research contribution of the institution’s academic community.
