Udala: A LPG cylinder theft racket was busted and four persons, two of whom are juveniles, have been arrested by the Udala Police in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district in this connection.As per reports, the police also recovered 14 stolen LPG cylinders from the possession of the accused persons. As per police, the persons have been accused of stealing domestic gas cylinders and selling each of the cylinders at around Rs 1,500.Among the four persons who have been arrested, three are allegedly involved in the theft, while one has been identified as the receiver who purchased the cylinders from the thief.Two of the apprehended persons have been dealt with under the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act.Investigations into the LPG cylinder theft ring are underway.
