New Delhi, 23/8: Senior Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, stated that 80 per cent of women, the country’s biggest asset, face harassment and that systemic violence is actively used by society to hinder their progress.Addressing students at his party’s youth outreach programme, ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’, in Pune on Saturday, Rahul said women should stand up for themselves and believe in themselves. He listed the challenges faced by women into three distinct forms of systemic violence: physical violence, violence through the denial of opportunities, and economic violence.
