New Delhi, 9/8: At the request of Ratna Debnath—the mother of the victim in 2024 RG Kar rape and murder case—West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Sunday announced a fresh probe into the same incident.
Debnath, who is now a BJP MLA, requested the government for a fresh investigation. Adhikari claimed that the police had failed to perform their duty in relation to this case.
