The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed new office-bearers while restructuring its organizational setup at the national level. Two prominent BJP leaders from Odisha have found places in the new team.BJP national president Nitin Nabin has appointed altogether 13 vice presidents, nine general secretaries, 16 secretaries and some other office-bearers as part of the shake-up.Two prominent BJP leaders from Odisha have found places in the new team.Kendrapara MP Baijayant Jay Panda has been appointed as a national vice president of the BJP. Panda, who was earlier working as the BJP vice president at the national level, was once again appointed to the same post.Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia, former Union Minister D Purandeshwari and senior leaders Ram Madhav, Tirath Singh Rawat, Rekha Verma, Manpreet Singh Badal, Lal Singh Arya and Madhuchandra Kar have been made as party’s national vice presidents.Similarly, BJP leaders Varshaben Narendrahai Doshi, Bharati Pravin Pawar, M. Nagaraja and Tariq Mansoor have also been appointed as the vice presidents.According to party sources, BL Santhosh, Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal, Biplab Kumar Deb and Smriti Irani among others have been appointed as national general secretaries. Puri MP Sambit Patra has been appointed as the North-East coordinator of BJP while senior leader Tarun Chugh has been given the responsibility of party’s central office in-charge. The BJP leadership has appointed Mahendra Pandey as party’s central office secretary and Rajiv Babbar as North-East joint coordinator.Senior BJP leader from Madhya Pradesh, Vishnu Datt Sharma has been made coordinator of all BJP cells while Rituraj Sinha and Vishnu Vardhan Reddy have been appointed as the joint coordinators.Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal has been made the treasurer of BJP.
