Washington DC, 23/8: US President Donald Trump has again said that the Strait of Hormuz is “American territory”, while separately claiming the United States has escorted more than 1,000 ships through the strategically important waterway.
Trump made the claim on Truth Social, where he reshared an image showing the Strait of Hormuz marked as “NEW US Territory”. He had shared the same image on August 18.
