SUBARNAPUR — The first match of Subarnapur Senior Football League was held between Sonpur Block Champion Team and Ulunda Block Champion Team. Sonpur Block won the match by defeating Ulunda by 5-0 goals and entered the semi-finals. Sanjeev Dharua of the winning team was awarded the Man of the Match. The first match was conducted by Jitu Thanapati, Chiku Badapanda, Sudam Jagdala and Sumit. The second match of the day was held between Binika Block Champion and Sonpur Municipality Champion Ram Dhun Club. Sonpur Municipality Ram Dhun Club won the match by defeating Binika Block by 1-0 goals and entered the semi-finals have entered the finals. Mr. Sritam Sahu was awarded the Man of the Match. Referee Rajesh Thanapati conducted the match. In today’s match, the chief guest was District Chief Supply Officer Nirad Ranjan Das, District Sports Officer Chittaranjan Mishra as the guest of honor, former MLA Binod Patra, ZP Member Laba Kumar Sahu, MLA candidate Priyabrat Sahu, youth leader Sudhir Panda, Seshadeb Meher, Ranjit Roy joined and inaugurated the match . Senior members of the District Sports Association Manoranjan Tripathy, Sanjaya Sahu conducted the meeting and gave details of the match. All the programs were organized under the direct supervision of Piyush Panda. Bikash Panda proposed the vote of thanks.
