Prasanna Kumar Patra, Dy. Director, Soil Conservation-cum-Project Director, Watershed, Sundaragada has been placed under arrest by Odisha Vigilance and will be forwarded today to the Hon’ble Court of Spl. Judge, Vigilance, Sundaragada for possession of disproportionate assets. Based on searches conducted on properties of Sri Patra, he was found in possession of disproportionate assets including 4 multi storeyed buildings and 1 flat at Bhubaneswar, 7 high value plots, gold 212 gms, deposits Rs.1.46 crore, cash Rs.1.29 lakhs, etc, which he could not explain satisfactorily. In this connection, Rourkela Vigilance PS case No.13/2026 has been registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act against Prasanna Kumar Patra, Dy. Director, Soil Conservation-cum-Project Director, Watershed, Sundaragada.
