Center reduced excise duty on fuel, BJP attacks TMC, asked Mamta – when will the tax be reduced?

Kolkatta, 4/11:After the outcry across the country after the wild increase in the prices of petrol and diesel, the Modi government at the Center decided to reduce the excise duty on Wednesday evening. After this, while the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government, there were attackers on the opposition. Many BJP-ruled states have also reduced VAT after the Center reduced excise duty on fuel. In the midst of all this, BJP’s IT Cell Chief Amit Malviya has targeted the Mamta Banerjee government of West Bengal.

Amit Malviya said, ‘Will her (Mamata) government reduce the tax levied by the state?’ grew rapidly, while the Center did not.
