Mumbai, 18/1 (AO Bureau): The crime branch has uncovered a gang that used to sell and buy newborns. In this case, the police have arrested 9 people, including 7 women and 2 men. Yogesh Chavan, an officer of Unit 1 of the Crime Branch, told how this gang used to buy children from poor parents for Rs 60 thousand to Rs 1.5 lakh and then sell it to those couples for Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh. , Who are longing for children.

The arrested accused are Rupali Verma (30), Nisha Ahire (38), Gulshan Khan (34), Gitanjali Gaikwad (38) (She is a nurse in a hospital), Aarti Singh (29) ( a lab technician in a hospital) And Dhananjay Boge (58) (this is a BHMS doctor who has a clinic in Lower Parel). The police have kept the names of the three accused a secret, as two of them are the children of the accused, while one of the accused has bought the child and is nurturing it.
