New Delhi., 23/1 (AO Bureau): A Delhi court has accused Aam Aadmi Party MLA Somnath Bharti (AAP MLA Somnath Bharti) in the case of assault on security personnel of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The court gave its verdict in this 2016 case today. Somnath Bharti was accused of assaulting the AIIMS security personnel. The court has exonerated four other accused in the same case.
It is being told about this case four years ago that Somnath Bharti is the first such minister of Delhi, who will be sentenced by the court. Somnath Bharti was charged with assault and damage to government property in this case in 2016, in which the court has now convicted him. The hearing of this case was also held on Friday, in which the court had said to give a decision on Saturday.
