A murder has reportedly taken place in Pankala village under Banpur police station of Khordha district this morning .
According to police information, Subash Rautray of Pankala village had a fight with his three other brothers this morning due to some reason. Later, Subash and his wife Minakshi Rautray were attacked by three brothers with weapons. As a result, Minakshi died on the spot and Subash was seriously injured.
However, after hearing this, Balugaon SDPO Manas Ranjan Barik, Banpur IIC Jayaprakash Parida and scientific team reached the spot and started investigation. On the other hand, all the accused are reported to have fled away from the spot.
However, after the primary investigation, the police said that the murder was due to a family dispute.
