Chilika, 31/3:A road accident took place in Damia Barabara area under Banpur PS limits this noon . In which many people were injured.
According to reports, around 20 women and men of Damia Barabara GP, Maskabari village were going to the panchayat office in a Tata Ace vehicle to fetch ration. However, the vehicle overturned near Damia bridge by which all the people were injured.
Later, the injured people came to Banpur CHC for treatment, while 15 people were slightly injured and 5 people were seriously injured. Accordingly one person has been referred to Bhubaneswar for higher treatment.
