Kolkata, 25/2:Members of an independent fact-finding committee were arrested in Bhojerhat, South 24 Parganas on Sunday. They were on their way to Sandeshkhali to investigate alleged incidents of atrocities against women in the troubled area when the police stopped them.
This comes after the police stopped them from entering Sandeshkhali, citing Section 144 being in force in parts of the area.
