Shivaji statue collapse: Structural consultant named in FIR arrested from Maharashtra’s Kolhapur

Mumbai, 30/8: In a major swoop, police have nabbed Chetan Patil, the structural consultant for the bronze statue of legendary Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj that collapsed earlier this week.

Following the collapse of the 35-feet tall statue at Rajkot Fort in Malvan, the Sindhudurg police filed an FIR against Patil and sculptor Jaydeep Apte who continues to be at large.
