Rayagada: In a jubilant display of unity and pride, Therubali was abuzz on November 26th, 2024 as IMFA marked its much-anticipated 63rd Foundation Day. This milestone celebration reflected yet another year of progress and achievements, featuring a series of events that brought joy to the IMFA family and the local Therubali community.
The day began with a blanket distribution to 300 elderly residents from nearby villages, followed by financial assistance of ₹10,000 each to three Persons with Disabilities (PWDs): Israpu Amajhi, Lenka Geeta, and Padma Kishore Majhi. Additionally, a battery-operated motorized tricycle was donated to young PWD entrepreneur Sri Chandra Sekhar Pradhani. The morning’s activities concluded with a community lunch.
The main event, hosted at the Sri Laxmi Narayan Temple premises, was graced by Sri Suresh Babu, Senior Vice-President & Bureau Head from Bhubaneswar, as the chief guest, along with Sri Ashis Kumar Roy, Unit Head, and departmental heads, volunteers, and staff of PR and BIPF. The gathering was further enriched by the presence of the Sarpanch, Samiti Members from local Gram Panchayats, Vice-Chairperson of Kolonara Panchayat Samiti Sri Haladhar Himirika, and other local dignitaries and leaders. The event was anchored by Sri Sameer Kumar Raut, DGM (HR & Admin), where both the dignitaries and the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for these noble initiatives.
The evening festivities featured a spectacular award function held within the factory premises. Highlights included the presentation of long-service awards to employees, scholarships to students, and prizes for winners and runners-up of the Kunjabihari Volleyball Tournament. The programme was adorned by colorful traditional dance performances by local artists, witnessed by employees and their families.
Sri Suresh Babu, Senior Vice-President of the IMFA Group, presided as the chief guest alongside Sri Ashis Kumar Roy, Unit Head of IMFA Therubali, on the dais. The event was anchored by Sri Sameer Kumar Raut, DGM (HR & Admin), and coordinated by Sri Sovan Lenka, Assistant Manager (PNL), along with staff members from various departments, including PNL, PR, and Administration. The celebrations served as a moment of reflection, appreciation, and renewed civic pride, making it a day to remember.
