Dramatic change in Odisha: Temperature falls by 3 to 4 degrees, to remain same for next three days

Bhubaneswar: The temperature in Odisha has taken a dramatic turn and reduced by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius after days of crossing 35 degrees Celsius. The IMD predicted that the temperature in the eastern state has reduced by 3 to 4 degrees. The IMD has predicted that the temperature will remain lowered for the next three days. The day and night temperature have both reduced giving a relief from the rising mercury. Light to moderate cold was felt in Odisha.The districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh and Puri have been given a warning for fog. The IMD also predicted that temperature will rise after January 11.As an impact of the North-westerlies, dry wind has been flowing in Odisha. This has also created a high pressure area in the central parts of India, following which the temperature has fallen in Odisha.
