Remuna: Odisha Vigilance on Thursday arrested Bidyadhar Pati, OAS, the Tahasildar of Remuna in Balasore district of Odisha in Dispropertionate Assets (DA) case. Based on searches conducted on properties of Pati, Tahasildar, Remuna, he was found in possession of disproportionate assets including 3 high value flats ( 2 flats worth approximately Rs.2.5 Crore at Bhubaneswar and 1 flat at Balasore), 2 plots, gold approximately 937 grams, deposits over Rs. 1.12 Crore, etc., which he could not explain satisfactorily. Following this, Pati, Tahasildar, Remuna has been placed under arrest by Odisha Vigilance and will be forwarded today to Court for possession of disproportionate assets. In this connection, Vigilance Cell PS case No.01/2025 has been registered against Bidyadhar Pati, Tahasildar, Remuna. Investigation of the case is in progress.
