New Delhi, 7/6 (AO Bureau):Good news for cricket lovers. The rest of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will start on September 14. The final match of the tournament will take place on October 15. A BCCI official said. A special meeting of the BCCI decided to hold the remaining 31 matches of IPL 2021 in the UAE. But the BCCI adjourned the match indefinitely on May 7 due to some players and coach being Corona positive.
A BCCI official said the board was looking for a 25-day deadline to complete the match. In addition, the meeting with the UAE board was good and the UAE had verbally agreed before the special meeting of the BCCI. The Indian team is currently on a tour of England on a wartime basis. The tour will end on September 14. The India team will be in the quarantine for three days upon arrival in the UAE on September 15. This will be followed by the 16th edition of the IPL on September 14. The remaining IPL matches to be played on September 14 will be in Sarjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
