Police nabs mastermind for Rs 1200 crore fraud in Sambalpur

Sambalpur: Police nabbed the mastermind fraud Finance company owner in the Rs 1200 crore fraud in Sambalpur. Police arrested the accused and court forwarded him today. The incident happened in Kuluthkani village under Dhanupali police limits in Sambalpur. The accused Santosh Acharya was arrested in relation to Rs 1200 crore fraud. The Dhanupala police arrested him and court forwarded him. He extracted money from the customers, on the pretext of giving them extra money as monthly interest. He claimed that he will pay 3 to 7 per cent interest rate per month and by the end of the year. He guaranteed them that he would repay their money with the special interest rate at the end of the year. He had duped over 400 customers and committed the Rs 1200 crore fraud in Sambalpur. After that he absconded with the money. One of the victims lodged a complaint on February 16 in Dhanupali police station, following which the police nabbed the main accused today after searching at several places.
