Begunia: In a tragic incident, a man and his wife were killed in a horrendous road accident in Khordha district of Odisha on Wednesday morning. The accident took place after a bus hit the car in which the couple was travelling. The accident took place near Pichukuli Adarsha Vidyalaya on the Khordha-Balangir National Highway number 57 in Begunia area. The identity of the deceased couple is yet to be ascertained. As per reports, a private long tour bus named Bisakha was on its way to Bhubaneswar from Phulbani. Near the Pichukuli School it hit the car in which the couple was travelling. As a result of the accident, the man and his wife were killed on the spot. They were stuck inside the ill-fated car for long. After getting information about the accident from the locals police and fire services personnel reached the spot. The fire services personnel took out body of the deceased persons after much effort. Police investigation of the case has been initiated.
