Bhubaneswar: Shaheed Nagar knife attack victim youth dies

Bhubaneswar: The youth who had been attacked with knife earlier this week in the capital city of Odisha, succumbed today to the critical knife attack injury on Wednesday. The knife attack victim and now deceased has been identified as Janmejaya alias Bapuni. As per reports, Janmejaya was living with his parents in the Science Park slum under Shaheed Nagar Police Station limits. His cousin was also living with his parents (uncle and aunty of Janmejaya) in the neighborhood in the same slum. On Sunday, his cousin had come to the house of Janmejaya when somehow a verbal spat erupted between the two cousin brothers. The spat took an ugly turn and soon they started attacking each other. Meanwhile Shanti Bhushan Nayak, the uncle of Janmejaya rushed to the spot and they also get involved in the fight. During the fight, Janmejaya sustained knife attack and he had been admitted to hospital. He died today while under treatment. Following death of Janmejaya, mother and sister of the deceased have claimed that his murder was result of a pre plan. They claimed that Shanti Bhusan Nayak, Chandan and a few others thrashed Janmejaya with hockey stick for which he died today.
