New Delhi: In a major boost to the public transport in the National Capital, the newly appointed Delhi government has launched as many as 400 e-buses on Friday. According to reports, on the launch of 400 e-buses, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta told ANI, “This is a wonderful gift for the people of Delhi. It will help lower pollution levels in the city. These buses are low-floor and comfortable, ” she added. “We are working to ensure that there are 2080 by the end of the year,” the Chief Minister further added while talking to media personnel. On the waterlogging in parts of the city following rain and storm, the CM says, “The government is in alert mode.” Further it is worth mentioning that, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan flagged off and inaugurated as many as 400 e-buses at Kushak Nalla bus depot in the city. The CM added that Delhi shall get as many as 2080 ebuses by the end of this year.
