Cuttack: Tension ran high after a portion of a wall of a newly inaugurated building at Cuttack Shishu Bhawan collapsed this afternoon. According to reports, the collapse occurred due to heavy rainfall, which weakened the structure. Fortunately, no casualties were reported as there were no people in the vicinity at the time of the incident. However, several vehicles parked near the wall were damaged due to falling debris. However, the wall collapse has raised concerns about the quality of construction, as the complex was recently inaugurated. Eyewitnesses claim that the wall’s collapse could have resulted in loss of life if people had been present in the area.
