Bhadark : Ferro Alloys Corporation Limited (FACOR), a Vedanta Group company, has launched a dry food meal initiative at Sri Ram Upper Primary (SRUP) School in Ostapal, under its flagship CSR program, FACOR Sathi Siksha Amrut Pariyojana.
The initiative aims to provide schoolchildren with daily dry food items such as bread, jam, biscuits, buns, cupcakes, roasted chana, and Glucovita, ensuring better nutrition and encouraging regular school attendance. Each child will receive 2–3 wholesome snacks every day as part of this program.
The launch event was held at the SRUP School campus and witnessed the presence of key dignitaries including Mr. Ajay Kumar Patra, Head of Ostapal Mines, and Mr. Vikas Kumar Chandra, Sarpanch of Kaliapani, along with school staff and community members. The event marked another milestone in FACOR’s ongoing commitment to child welfare and education in the region.
