Bhadark : Ferro Alloys Corporation Ltd. (FACOR) marked the 79th Independence Day with spirited celebrations and a strong message of environmental stewardship through dual events at Kathpal and Ostapal schools, and government schools in Rampur and Ramkrishnapur Gram Panchayat, Bhadrak.
At Kathpal and Ostapal, the tricolour was proudly hoisted by Mines Head Mr. Muthumari, followed by the national anthem and a vibrant student rally spreading messages of unity and pride. Students captivated the audience with cultural performances from patriotic songs and dances to speeches recounting India’s freedom struggle. Teachers urged students to uphold values of discipline, citizenship, and service to the nation. The celebration concluded with sweet distribution, leaving behind a sense of camaraderie and national pride.
In parallel, reinforcing FACOR’s commitment to sustainability, 310 saplings were distributed across government schools in Rampur and Ramkrishnapur GP. The initiative, aimed at fostering environmental awareness and responsibility among the youth, saw enthusiastic participation from students and staff. Teachers highlighted the crucial role of greenery in building a sustainable future, and students pledged to care for the plants, contributing to greener, cleaner campuses.
Through these initiatives, FACOR not only celebrated India’s independence but also underscored its role in shaping responsible, aware, and environment-conscious citizens of tomorrow.
