Khurda Road Division Organises ‘Amrit Samvaad’ under Special Campaign 5.0

As part of the ongoing Special Campaign 5.0, Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway organised “Amrit Samvaad” at Puri Railway Station on 8th October 2025 evening. The programme aimed at fostering meaningful interaction between Railway officials and passengers, focusing on Cleanliness, Safety and Improvement of Passenger Amenities.

During the Amrit Samvaad, passengers appreciated the Station’s cleanliness and overall upkeep. They suggested regular cleaning of toilets in local trains and providing ramp connectivity across all platforms for better accessibility. Several passengers also proposed facilities such as free parking, information booths and Foot Over Bridge (FOB) construction for Divyangjan and Senior Citizens. Railway officials assured that all constructive suggestions received from passengers would be taken up on priority.

Railway is transforming with modern amenities and passenger-centric services. Under Amrit Samvaad at Puri Railway Station by senior officials, feedback was collected from passengers on cleanliness, comfort and new facilities. Passengers enthusiastically shared their views on the improved travel experience and upcoming passenger conveniences.

As part of Special Campaign 5.0, interaction was held with passengers under the Amrit Samvaad initiative, where passengers shared their feedback and expectations regarding enhanced facilities and the ongoing transformation of Indian Railways.

Such Amrit Samvaad programmes will also be organised at various important stations over Khurda Road Division. Senior officers including the Divisional Railway Manager, Additional Divisional Railway Managers, and other Branch Officers will interact with passengers to gather feedback and suggestions aimed at improving station environment and services.

This initiative reflects East Coast Railway’s continued commitment to promoting public participation, transparency and efficiency in railway operations through sustained Cleanliness Drives and people-oriented measures under Special Campaign 5.0.
