Cuttack, 31/12: In a major developing, Jitendra Kumar Panda, Additional Tahasildar, Barang, Dist-Cuttack has been arrested by Odisha Vigilance and will be forwarded today to the Court of Spl. Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar for possession of disproportionate assets. Yesterday, he was trapped by Odisha Vigilance.
Based on searches conducted on properties of Sri Jitendra Kumar Panda, Additional Tahasildar, Barang, Dist-Cuttack, he was found in possession of disproportionate assets including 2 multi storeyed buildings at Bhubaneswar, one 2 BHK flat at Uttara, Bhubaneswar & 1 multi storeyed building at Khordha town, 4 high value plots, gold approx 560 gms, deposits Rs.36.97 lakhs, cash Rs.73.66 lakhs, 1 four wheeler, etc, which he could not account for satisfactorily*.
In this connection, Vigilance Cell PS case No.12/2025 has been registered against Sri Jitendra Kumar Panda, Additional Tahasildar, Barang, Dist-Cuttack.
