Elephant Tramples Man to Death in Dhenkanal

A rogue elephant trampled a 50‑year‑old labourer to death late Monday night in Damol village under Parjang police station in Dhenkanal districtThe victim, identified as Anai Behera, was cycling home from a brick kiln around 10:30 pm when the wild elephant attacked him. The animal trampled him, and he died instantly at the spot.Family members, police, and forest officials recovered the body and shifted it to Parjang Community Health Centre for post‑mortem examination.
