A gruesome murder shocked Jharsuguda district on Friday morning after locals discovered a blood-soaked body near the Muchbahal Health Centre under Belpahad Municipality.Police identified the deceased as Sujan Kumar Mahat, 39, a resident of Gumula village in Jharkhand. He had lived in Muchbahal for nearly two decades and worked as a driver for a private coal company in Lakhanpur.Villagers spotted Sujan’s body lying on the roadside and immediately informed Belpahar police. Officers reached the scene, seized the body, and began an investigation.
