West Asia conflict could have pushed LPG cylinder price to Rs 2,000′: PM Modi

Pachpadra 4/7: Price of a cooking gas cylinder could have gone up to Rs 2000 due to the disruptions caused by the West Asia conflict, but the government shielded the consumers by keeping it low, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday.

Speaking at an event to mark the inauguration of a refinery project at Pachpadra in Balotra district of Rajasthan, Modi said the West Asia conflict had trigged the worst energy crisis of the 21st century.
