Paradeep, August 31, 2026: AM/NS Ports has been conferred with the prestigious CSR Excellence Samman 2026 Award by Paradeep Municipality on the occasion of Local Self Government Day 2026, in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the community though its CSR initiatives within the Municipality area. The award was presented by Shri Sampad Chandra Swain, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Department of Industries, Skill Development and Technical Education, Government of Odisha, and was received on behalf of AM/NS Ports by Shri Laxmikanta Sahoo, Head-Mechanical, AM/NS Ports and Shri Yugojyoti Mohanty, Lead – CSR, AM/NS Ports during a special function held at Jaydev Sadan, Paradeep, on August 31, 2026.
Present on the occasion were Shri P.L Haranadh, Chairman, Paradip Port Authority, Shri Niranjan Behera, ADM, Paradeep, Shri Basant Biswal, Chairman, Paradeep Municipality, Smt. Chhabilata Rout, Vice Chairperson, Paradeep Municipality and Shri Abhishek Panda, Executive Officer, Paradeep Municipality along with local councillors, senior officials of AM/NS India, Paradeep Municipality and local community.
Through its key CSR initiatives in Paradeep Municipality, AM/NS Ports has demonstrated a deep commitment to community welfare. These initiatives include the Vocational Tailoring Training Centre at Kalyan Mandap in Ward 3, the Vision Centre at Biju Memorial Hospital, the Beti Padhao Scholarship program, and the distribution of nutritious food baskets to TB patients in Paradeep Municipality and Kujanga Block. In addition, AM/NS Ports actively supports schools by renovating buildings and organising diverse cultural programmes, further strengthening its role as a catalyst for social development.
