Paradeep, September 29, 2026: AM/NS Ports, under its CSR initiative ‘Project Green’, today organised an extensive beach cleaning drive at Paradeep Sea Beach. The campaign aimed to inspire community responsibility towards a cleaner environment while safeguarding the pristine beauty of the coastline for future generations.
The event was graced by Shri Basant Biswal, Chairman, Paradeep Municipality, and Shri Bhawesh Jha, Plant Head, Paradeep Pellet Plant, AM/NS India among others. Nearly 75 participants, including employees of AM/NS Ports, municipal officials, school teachers and students actively took part in the initiative, collecting waste and contributing to the restoration of the beach’s natural beauty. More than 170 kg of waste was gathered during the drive and subsequently handed over to the municipal authorities for proper disposal. Cleaner beaches not only offer a pleasant experience for visitors but also strengthen the area’s appeal as a tourist destination, supporting the local economy.
AM/NS Ports plans to undertake similar initiatives in partnership with community stakeholders to encourage collective responsibility for environmental conservation. The company remains steadfast in its commitment to a clean, green, and safe environment.
