Amitabh Bachchan recalled a childhood memory of Diwali crackers during a special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, providing a moment of amusement for actors Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Ravi Dubey.The actors appeared alongside Bachchan to promote their upcoming film Ramayana. During the interaction, Ranbir Kapoor asked Bachchan about his childhood experiences of celebrating Diwali.In response, the veteran actor said, “Sir, Diwali ki keval yahi yaad rehti thi, ki agar bagal wale ke yahan bomb phata hai, toh hamara bomb usse zyada tez hona chahiye.” This recalled the competitive spirit among children to have louder firecrackers than their neighbours.Bachchan’s anecdote elicited laughter from the actors and introduced a light-hearted moment on the show. The episode is part of a Diwali special edition of Kaun Banega Crorepati.Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Ravi Dubey are part of the Ramayana cast, which also includes Yash as Ravana and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the two-part film is produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios along with DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations.Ramayana: Part 1 is set for worldwide release on November 5, 2026, with the second part planned for Diwali 2027.The Diwali special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati will air on October 29 and 30 at 9 pm on Sony Entertainment Television
